Ainsley Martin, MS, CCC-SLP graduated from Syracuse University in 2015 and has primarily practiced in skilled nursing facilities. Her clinical interests include dysphagia management, medical bioethics, leadership/mentorship, and program development to increase the influence of SLPs in skilled nursing to maximize therapeutic benefit for patients. Ainsley has been a guest speaker at Syracuse University, a presenter at the Alzheimer’s caregiver support group at Brookdale Fayetteville, and has been invited to provide nurse training re: development of oral care programs. She is a member of the National Foundation of Swallowing Disorders (NFOSD), Dysphagia Research Society (DRS), New York State Speech-Language and Hearing Association, Central New York Speech-Language Hearing Association, and the Central New York Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Ainsley is also a 5 time ASHA ACE awardee, certified in MDTP and myofascial release, and a resource contributor for the Med SLP Collective. Interests outside of SLP include spending time with family, swimming, reading, chess, yoga, and belly dance.
